Latest macOS & Toolchain Compatibility

What you need to know about macOS versions (Sequoia, Sonoma) and toolchain compatibility (Homebrew, Xcode, CocoaPods, SPM) on Mac mini M4.

macOS and M4

Our Mac mini M4 instances run the latest supported macOS (e.g. Sequoia). Each device gets full root access so you can install and pin Xcode, Homebrew formulae, and other tools. Upgrades are available when we roll out new OS versions; we document any breaking changes in the Blog and Help.

Homebrew, CocoaPods, SPM

New macOS releases can affect Homebrew, CocoaPods, and Swift Package Manager. We recommend using regional mirrors and pre-pull or cache in CI so builds stay consistent. See dependency acceleration and our Homebrew, npm, CocoaPods mirror and resume guide.
